Oh boy, found an old show I used to love..........

Roscoe when he's curious. I'm having a lot of fun with creating GIFs.

I was 16 when this show aired on Saturdays usually about 2 pm or so and if I was lucky dad wasn't home and mom would let me watch it. My folks were very strict. Anyway, this episode included the old Sonny and Cher duet plus the Supremes, I wonder what kids today would think of it. Anybody out there remember Hullabaloo? EDIT: I edited this 5 times to copy and past the link but it just would not show up correctly. If you'd like to watch it just copy the link and past it into the top search bar.

I’d like to see Sonny and Cher again. It’s probably too dated for kids today

Yes, I remember hullabaloo. It's a fad during our high school days in late 60s.

It aired here around 1965 or 1966, then it just disappeared

Yes, exactly. Back then I wanted to watch both those shows unfortunately my parents chose what they wanted to watch and if either show was on when they wanted to watch TV I was simply out of luck

Oh I just wanna pet that Roscoe . . . oh that face! I don't remember Hullabaloo, though I definitely know Sonny and Cher. Was it too "adult" for teen eyes back then?

I was about 16 when this aired but it didn't last that long, it ran from 1965 til 1966 and I saw it on NBC on Saturdays. The other 2 shows that ran on different channels were American Band Stand and Shindig. You were probably too young to have seen this show.

@rebelann Ah, it was a little before my time. But I did know American Band Stand - but that one ran on for years.

Yeah, he was so handsome most of his life. I really enjoyed watching him cover the New Years ball drop, now it's all so boring.

Every now and then there'll be a glitch with the posting of a link on myLot. I've had it all day, too, so don't worry about it. No, I don't remember Hullabaloo.

Wellll, we can't have that now can we. I get the feeling that the reason for those kinds of shows was because of Beatle-mania. What kinds of teen programs were airing in Australia in the mid 1960s?

@rebelann We had Bandstand and Countdown. I don't really remember any others but there could have been. Our family was late getting a TV as we were out in the country.

I hope to get another one to show up here, it shows his really happy face but is more involved so might be too big, I'll try it out the next time I think of something to write about.

I liked the old Sonny and Cher Show; and I think I used to watch Hullabaloo. Great memories. LOVE the gifs of Roscoe -- Keep 'em comin'!!! BTW, I couldn't hear what the announcer said; but that looked like the Lovin' Spoonful in back of Sonny & Cher??

He is a charmer, everyone likes him as long as he isn't too wild. He still hasn't calmed down enough for people to be comfortable around him. It only aired from 1965 until 1966 so you might not have been born yet.
