The classics are eternal. Going through my playlist I decided to listen to Gimme! Gimme! Gimmy! by ABBA. What a delightful song. It was recorded by the Swedish group in 1979. I was born in 1991 and I love this beat. I felt like dancing and singing all over the house. ABBA's songs are exciting. The 70s, 80s and 90s marked countless generations. I've noticed a big presence of classic songs in tik tok lately. Sometimes they get a remix version but, it's still so current and interesting. Even songs by current artists with retro inspiration have been very successful with audiences of all ages. It's great to see these sounds transcending generations.

love ABBA! one of the greatest. what are other ABBA songs you love?
one of the good things of the internet is people can discover songs without depending on the radio to play songs and it is great to see people discovering and loving music from past "generations".

In India too old classics and melodies are still famous. Youngsters still sing those songs.
