Good Deeds at the Laundry Shop

Done doing my laundry.
Was in and out of the laundry shop a little over an hour.
While at the laundry shop, I was able to do good deeds. First was when a woman left here mobile phone in waiting area. I mentioned it to the laundry shop attendant and she quickly called the attention of a lady. turned out it was a customer who was loading her clothes in the washing machine. The customer was with an elderly lady. No idea if it was her or the elderly lady who left the mobile phone but they were glad that they got the mobile phone back.
Second good deed involved the same pair of ladies. This time around they left their key and access card to their condominium unit. I knew because I have the same key and access card. They left the key and access card in the chairs outside the laundry shop. I found it and turned it over to the security personnel. At this time, I didn't know that the key and access card belongs to the same pair of ladies. When I came back to the laundry shop, they were talking to each other and were looking for something in their bags. I had asked if they lost their key and access card. Of course they were dumbfounded how I knew. I said, I turned over a key and access card to the security personnel before coming back to the shop. I mentioned that I saw it in the sitting area outside the laundry shop. They both breathed a sigh of relief and the younger lady went to the security personnel to retrieve their key and access card.
It does feel good helping others out. Of course, it pays that you be mindful of your valuables went going out.

People leave their cell phones just lying somewhere. I've never understood why people would do that. Cell phones are too expensive to just leave lying somewhere.

@allen0187 If I'm moving around, my cell phone is in my front pocket. I don't lay it down anywhere. At night, it is beside me on my bed.

Your parents have done a wonderful job raising you to become a good man. Kudos to you. The ladies were lucky you are there.
On a side note, may I ask how much do you have to pay for laundry Im asking because my daughter will be off to the city for college in a few months and she might need laundromat services sometimes. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words.
Laundry fee depends on how many kilos of clothes will be washed and the duration of the washing/drying/folding. Clothes up to 4 kilos are charged Php45/kg. Anything in excess will be charged more.

Doing good is a pleasure; beyond measure. I remember it that it's a lines from the Church hym, "Have I done any good today".

It's excellent that you did well for someone who could have trouble remembering where they left their belongings when they're busy doing other things. I'm hoping that the two will learn from this because it appears that they are both forgetful.

I guess it wasn't those ladies days. Your description of them kind of reminded me of myself, I am always losing things. Good thing you were there!
