Do you binge watch?, I read an article saying that binge watch is bad for health because a health experts warn that because people are replacing time once spent exercising, socializing, and sleeping, they are increasing their risk for many serious health conditions, including cardiovascular disease (heart disease), depression, sleep problems, and behavioral addictions.Do you think binge watching is bad because i seem to do it a lot ever since Netflix came to my life and that's all i seem to do on weekend nights and on my holidays too. What do you think?Care to share your opinion?

@sica98 Haha, I know what the side effects are, I experienced them! But honestly, I hardly ever binge watch anything, as I’m always so busy.

Does binge watching mean watching trailers? I am also a fan of movies but I limit myself and do other things. Watching movies all day without exercising or doing other things is bad. Too much of something is always bad.

I think it depends on how long you are doing it and how often. Everything in moderation.

I think that anything in the extreme or overdone is bad for us. A few hours of a show we enjoy can also do a lot of positive things for us like lift the mood or take our thoughts away from some situations.

I do binge-watch despite the fact that I know I have to move around and exercise. Sometimes, I jog in place while binge-watching, that way I can shoot two birds with one stone,
But when what I am watching is so interesting, I fail to do this, I hope I could do that more often though.
If you do move a lot during your work days, then you deserve to binge-watch during your days off. Otherwise, it would be wise to take some break and perform physical exercise, jogging or walking to keep healthy.

I am a person who often has to keep anxiety on a low level or I feel bad so if I ever binge-watch it helps me keep my anxiety down because my mind is on the program and not on how I feel. Also working on my PC has become a habit that keep me calm and I enjoy it but I will try to get myself out and walking at least a couple of times a week to starters,

No, I don't binge watch. There are other activities I enjoy - reading, listening to music, exercising, socializing with friends.

@sica98 Even I watched a show I liked very much, I would stop after watching it for 2-3 hours. I want to do something else.

That article was right. The more you seat and don't move, the more you damage your health.
