Make The Most of Time

I was thinking how time can pass by and before you know it a whole year has slipped away. I used to keep a diary of my daily schedule but unfortunately let the idea slip and so no more interesting reading. Even although it is halfway through the year Iam going to buy another page a day diary and continue to write. Do you have the discipline to diarise your day?

Never had such discipline but I used to write in a diary to improve my writing skill.

I am sure it helped a lot with improving your writing skills.

Not every day but I write in mine every few days.

That sounds a good option too, to write every other day or when the muse arises :)

@RubyHawk Looking back to see how one's projects are going, can help keep one on track :)

@dianadee It works very well for me. I can look back and see what was generally happening.

I only did it when I was a girl. In fact I am not too fond of discipline.

I know what you mean. Just fun to jot down some ideas etc. that you have in your day-to-day activities.

I wouldn't call it keeping a diary, but I keep a journal where I try to record my thoughts and feelings about the day just passed. Im just getting back into the daily habit after a bit of a break.

I must say sometimes when we are on vacation with family, I tend to forget to jot down the events of the day.

I suspect my diary would become somewhat repetitive. Perhaps when I retire my days will become interesting enough to write about.

@dianadee I suppose what I might find dull and repetitive, because I do it every day, others may find interesting.

@WorDazza That is exactly it. We all lead such diverse lives and we cannot be copied :)

I also had a boarding school diary that I kept, many moons ago. Even stuck sweet papers and other interesting things in it. A food diary is such a great idea of yours :)
