Do you like soup or porridge when you don`t feel well?

Germany
July 12, 2022 2:32am CST
Hello! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters I woke up early today at 7:30am but not feeling well. The weather is nice. Sunny and cool. Eventhough I don`t feel to good. I still went out for a walk because maybe it will help me to get better. I home checked if I have covid but good thing it is negative. I guess, it is because of the weather change. Anyways, I made some chicken porridge because I always make this if I feel sick. It is a very simple and easy to cook when I am lazy but my husband ate some spam and cheese sandwich with his coffee. I`m wondering if what mylotters eat when they don`t feel good. Do you like soup or porridge? What are you having for today? I hope you can share it with me here Have a great day, Happy mylotting and See you around Photo: google

If I don't feel good, I want mashed potatoes. Sometimes Pretty will make it for me. Other times I have to make it myself. I ate two slices of barbecued chicken pizza for dinner tonight. Pretty made it. It was good!

No, I get something a lot lighter when I do not feel well, a cup of steamed rice, or a little pasta with a bit of butter.

When I am not well , I generally loose my appetite. I want something light on my stomach. Tomatoes soup or steamed rice or khichdi( rice and lentil cooked together) are my prefered ones. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes I share the same feeling of loosing appetite when I am sick. But I have to force myself to eat to help my immune system.

Mostly, if I feel ill I want clear soups, and fruit juices. It depends, though. I see @DaddyEvil likes mashed potatoes, and I like those as well. MyLot makes me hungry. We often say that chicken soup is nature's antibiotics.

Chicken soup has been proven to have healing ingredients in it. So many people talk about the delicious foods they're eating that it makes me hungry, too.

I like both soup and porridge when I don't feel well. When I am running a temperature I don't like sweet porridge. I had mushroom curry, dal, rice and lady's finger and potato fried for lunch. I have ordered my dinner as I was late while teaching my maids daughter.

Here we tend to have porridge or noodles since it will give you some nutritions and it is easy to digest. The soup is fine but sometimes you may be hungry after that.

This made me think carefully. There are times when I prefer the traditional Filipino chicken sopas, and there are times when I would love to have chicken arroz caldo (porridge). When my husband is under the weather, I make him chicken tinola (chicken with thin broth). I hope you feel better soon. The changing weather can really take a toll on our health.
