Patience is a virtue, and virtue is it's own reward.

Yes, we all want an end to this pandemic, an end to abortion and an end to jerry mandering and so on and so forth. But be patient. Or you might miss out on the good things happening right at this exact moment. The fact that God gave you this day is a miracle to you. A gift. I have been patient with some people, please be patient of me and accept that I will eventually come around and interact. I will be patient with those who I have not seen or heard from, in decades. As long as I am around, still on this side of the garden wall, I will be patient. Not in a hurry because even the second coming of Christ might take a lot longer than God has patience with me during my very short life.

Patience is a virtue that not many people can boast of. All we can do is try our very best to exercise patience.

@Kandae11 Yes, with me, but with America, we are so divided on party lines well you know we have issues. It is hot in Dallas, and I think this heat wave is going to prove a serious concern for us all Hello and hope you are doing well. Covid BA 5 is another thing. But I am sure you are updated on that issue.

Hi there April. Good to see you again. I have been spending more time attending Catholic mass. my wife is very ill and my brother passed on his birthday on January18, 2022. My younger brother is in a hospice plus hospital and has stage 4 COPD. But I am looking after my wife and spending most of the time at home looking after her to make sure she gets all the support and love and care she needs. Hope you are doing well.

@lookatdesktop I am so sorry for all that you have been through. Is your wife recovering, or is it not that kind of illness.

@thislittlepennyearns Her illness is terminal but she might live several years more. The doctors gave her a bad prognosis and I am praying each day for a miracle. I will not leave her side. I am with her 24/7 with exception to times I have to shop at the pharmacy, store for groceries and no more than an hour at church services. I wanted to sing in the choir but that is not going to happen. I spend most my days now reading the scriptures that the church intends me to study and when given a chance, I tend to my garden which, by the way is about to fry, thanks to the extreme heat.

I realize that I need patience with those who want to vent hostilities at me when I speak of God but here lately, since my brother's passing and my wife's illness, I have returned to the church of my faith. Catholic and I am learning from the Saint Josheph New American Bible and attend mass almost every day since mid January of this year after about 40 years of not going to church. I am still focused on climate change, Covid-19 mitigation and praying for Democracy in America to return as we are very divided at this time between the GOP party and the Joe Biden party. I try my best to understand both sides and try my best to find commonality in all things. But, God is the core of my life now. The very epicenter of it. Peace.

@lookatdesktop I am very proud of you for speaking out about your faith. There are many that say they are Christians but lack the attitude and Godlike qualities that make them so. Peace to you as well.

@lookatdesktop Hi there, thanks for sharing your experiences with me. I wish you and your family well, and you're right...we must always be vigilant and wear a mask because there is still a risk of exposure at large. Take care, friend.
