Hi! I've been an independent travel agent for almost two years that is why i have visited lots of beautiful places here in my country the Philippines and one of that is in Boracay. I have guided a couple from United States to Boracay and i ave book them in one of the finest resort in Boracay. Boracay, Indeed is a heavenly place, best for honeymooners, for those who really want t enjoy nature. You enjoy the beach in the morning by simply strolling and breath and feel the warmth sunshine in your face. You can also enjoy other activities like scuba diving, Island hopping, etc. And at the end of the day you just seat down and enjoy yur drink while watching the sunset, the best view you ever have. and whats more? stay in one of the beautifu resrt in Boracay like Nigi Nigi Nu Noos 'e' Nu Nu Noos. The best time to come is summer time from April to May and also December to January. But you have to bk early if you have any plans t spend yur vacatin in Boracay. Plan it and book it 3 mnths before your trip. That's it! I hope i'm able to help with what little information i shared.

yes...
im a pilipina, im living in cebu now but im originally from zamboanga city.
Boracay is a paradise in heaven... sent to earth, i had been there 3 times. twice this year and once last 4 years ago.
when im there, im off the stress... i kept on spoiling myself to endless beachline, white sands and very fine too wth crytal clear water... hotels are not so expensive. i got massage and hahaha, i love henna tatoo (i know how to but im on a break right?) and i love hair braids... people are so amazed coz my hair is below my butt near between knees.. when i went there i got so addicted to banana boats and jetski but i like banana boats... and lying down the sand when its afternoon sunset and listening to music from bars and restos echoing beats...
i encourage all foreign people who love to venture philippines, to go and hop boracay and see the difference... you wont regret it and its full of life and wonderful gifts of God.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. What's cool is that we dont have to go to other countries to experience nature this way. I mean, Boracay is just an hour and for some who are lucky enough a couple of mintues away. Its a great place to relieve stress and get detached from the hectice world and also experience things that we dont usually experience in our everyday lives, just like hena and having your hair braided.

i've been to boracay last 2003 as a graduation gift from my grandma. ^^ it was a real surreal experience. the waters were uber clear and the sand was heaven. haha. after my trip, a lot of things happened to the island (the fire in D' Mall, the weather last year - destroying much of the island, the garbage issues) but i still wanna go there and experience the beauty of the beach. i hope it's still beautiful after all that has happened. ^____^

Been to bora last Nov 10-13 2005, it was really a memorable experience since that was the first time we travel out-of-town with my boyfriend. We availed the palakbayan promo & we got the chance to stay at sandcastles, it's between station 1 & 2. We had island hopping on our first day (crystal cove, puka beach, carabao island..etc). How can I forget Hey Jude Bar & Bistro...:) Thanks for being so honest & helpful when we left & almost lost my bf's wallet. It was indeed a great experience in bora. We'll surely go back there!

Yes, I have been to Boracay. My first and only visit in this island paradise was last December 2003. I stayed there together with my family and friends for 5 days. Before, I just dream of going there because I thought going there is expensive but i was surprise that my alloted money for that particular vacation was more than enough that is why, I was able to buy several souvenir items in Boracay. We always avail of the eat-all-you-can promos. The water and the sand is magnificent, what else can you ask for. If you love gimmicks, you might surrender here. You have varieties of fun to do from diving, snorkeling, swimming, bananaboat riding, windsurfing, shopping, dining, bar hopping, disco, "mini-concert" or if you really love nature, you can sit back and relax along the beach and have some massage. What else can I say about Boracay, "you miss half of your life if you haven't seen this place yet". I am looking forward for my next visit in Boracay maybe this coming 2007. See you all there.

I went there last summer of 2005. The beach was indeed powdery white but I didn't feel much different from the other beaches until I came back and was told and recalled that it was indeed true that your feet does not get seared whenever you walk on the sand on a sunny day because your feet will just sink into the sand where it is not hot.

Would you believe I've been to 7 countries in Europe but I've never been to Boracay? Odd, right? It's definitely in my list of things to do this year!

My first trip to Boracay was a graduation present from my older sister. I caught German measles a few weeks before that and was hospitalized. But that didn't spoil my trip at all.
My sister's a regular there and knew her way around and stuff. We stayed at a nice place managed by a couple. It was very homey but we also had our privacy because it was a series of huts in a small compound. The little girl who was the niece of the guy who owned the resort often accompanied us.
We always woke up early to see the sunrise and make the most of the early morning sun. We ate at different places... That's one of the things I love about Boracay, the cuisine is varied so that virtually anyone would have a choice, even picky eaters like me. The sands are combed regularly and the waters are clear.
I liked island hopping on a sailboat. Because it was just me, my sister and the two boatmen, we were comfortable in a small sailboat. I just sat at the side (I have no idea what it's called in English) so I could enjoy the water spraying on my face. At night, my sister and I would go out and have a drink or dance after dinner.
I found the service great in Bora and I like the fact that they treat foreigners and fellow Filipinos alike, unlike some places were foreigners and rich Filipino people are given special treatment.
I've only been back once after that and it was quite a short trip. I hope I'll be able to go back soon.

yes! i've been to boracay twice, once in 2002 and then last year, 2006. but true, even though you've been to boracay, twice or thrice or more, each experience will still be different from the rest.
The first time that we were there we stayed at Pink Patio (now Patio Pacific) in station 1. It was a nice place, but quite far from the beach -- but we wanted it that way because we have 3 kids, one was only 2 years old, and we didn't want the noise of the parties, etc. Another thing why we chose that place was because of their swimming pool. My kids love to stay in the pool than in the beach, they didn't want the moss (kinda gross for them!) which were all over the seashore at that time!
On our second visit, we stayed in Tonglen beach resort, in station 3. We had tight budget so i really surfed the Net and was able to find reasonable accomodation.
Boracay is really such a nice place, and we are very lucky that we have it here in our country.

My family and I went to Boracay this december. It was the first time for all of us. I instantly fell in love with the place! It was so beautiful! I will recommend it to anyone! We stayed there for 3 whole days and just enjoyed the beach. There are so many restaurants to choose from so there is something for everyone. I will definitely go back to that place!
