Sunday is a day for a long bath

We do not have a bath tub but have both cold and hot showers. On Sundays I oil my hair with oil that has a mix of curry lives cooked in the coconut oil . This oil nourishes the hair and I am told it even dyes the hair.
I do use a hair dye but perhaps this ritual delays the periodicity of dyeing my hair.
I have just had that bath and feel so refreshed. And yes I wash my hair once a week
What is your ritual?

Somehow I have never liked the idea of a bath tub. I have been on many holidays and those hotels only had bath tubs but the moment I landed I would ask for a bucket and a mug and stand in the bath tub and have my bath. (lol)

@JudyEv But as we proceed on our journey of life we do adapt to things that we like but a bath tub has never impressed me. Pizza for example was never our cuisine and I love it and make it too - there are other things.

@allknowing Often it's all about what you are used to.

In Japan we heat up the bathtub every night! But in the summer I only take showers.

We have moderate temperature here - neither too cold nor too hot But a warm shower is good for the muscles and joints.

@allknowing I really like showers. In the cold winter I like hot baths.

This time of year my hair sometimes gets washed 3 and 4 times a week. If not it feels extremely heavy from sweating.

@allknowing I wouldn't say I was having a bath unless I was actually sitting in water in the bathtub. If I used the shower I would say I was having a shower. I know people used to call it a 'shower-bath' but nowadays it's just a shower.
