One day in Spring I took a walk in the park

I met you one day and you smiled back at me.
Behind your covid-mask your eyes were smiling.
I asked you if you wanted to walk with me in the park one day. You said, yes.
I will never forget that day. When you and I took that morning walk. It was a day I will always remember and hold close to my heart. The innocence of it was profound. The simplicity a joy.

The simple friendships I have are valuable to me. Those who do not know me well and those I do not know well can be problematic at times, so I have to balance my time so as not to waste it too much on social media. I was recently cricized for misspelling a word and was told, "If you misspell a word, it is not likely the rest of your post will be read or held to have any real value." - If they had known that I type so fast, about 70 words a minute, I misspell as my thoughts fly faster than my fingers can keep up. LOL
