I thought our university will have straight face to face classes, it's not

I've learned during our virtual meeting that we still have online classes. Teachers and students will only meet twice which are during the orientation and during the final departmental exams.
I'm happy for the virus is still active in Cagayan de Oro City, yet sad because my ears itch when use the headset oftentimes. Also my laptop can't be trusted. I'm afraid it may crash again. The virus is the hindrance of attaining a goal to hold classes like before. Life is indeed not the same as in the past when we enjoyed freedom.
Classes in the university where I'm teaching commences September 2,graduation come August 10 and 11,2002.
Other countries already had started their full face to face classes, others blended like in public schools. What about in the schools near you face to face classes or blended? Thanks for reading. Sharing is caring.

Face to face. Students have to take a rapid test every morning before going to school. If there are infected cases, that class will be stopped for a week.

If I am not mistaken, Vice President and also the Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte planned to be blended learning this coming August 22. What will be the blended learning look like? For example, Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be face to face classes then during Tuesday and Thursday will be Online Classes only.

@luisga814, I don't know exactly. I'm teaching in the tertiary level. I'll ask my friends teaching in deped about this and deliver to you their answers. Okay?

@LadyDuck, I'm so afraid of this face to face classes in DepEd. Many kids might get covid. The virus in Philippines surges high, the more if classes start. The virus if could only talk may shout for joy for having many hosts. Vaccine, booster cannot guarantee safety.

Public and private schools in our region will still be online until November. Then face-to-face classes will follow..
afterward.
This goes true with the university I previously taught in. Face-to-face classes are imperative in the allied health courses because these future health professionals must acquire the proper manual skills to render service competently. So certain laboratory class meetings are required.

@Jenaisle, the university where I'm teaching is still on online classes. We'll meet only during the orientation and final exams, except for the College of Medicine, Nursing, Architecture, IT they're required to report face to face to their assigned rooms and laboratories.

I am not sure its ever going to be same again and these people here going opposite make it more populated. Which means more viruses because people is so close proximity . People need space no matter how much you think you love people. No one loves anyone when you are forced. Why a lot of new laws makes no sense because forces society to become more populated, live on top of each other and spread viruses to each other.
The things they do in the name of obtaining more money.

@cacay1 Yeah, no guarantees, but be nice if law makers made common sense laws and not out of spite I hate you laws. Speaking for US here, not sure how you guys do it., but can imagine that would make sense for most of your country too even if you are already doing that.

@crossbones27, distancing will never be attained in face to face classes. I'm so afraid virus victims multiply. Vaccine and booster not a guarantee to be covid free.

We have face-to-face classes in schools and colleges from the start of this session which is from April and I don't think there is any plan of the government to make it online. I have seen my kids for two years taking online classes but they learned nothing. It's better that they have face-to-face classes
