I have actually never made these, but I have had them at various events. I always liked them, and since I have lots of cukes now, courtesy of my nice neighbor, and I have cream cheese, actually it is neuftchel cheese, very similar. So, I decided to make one for lunch. Tasty and cool, hit the spot. Have you had these? Do you make these?

Never had this. Sounds good. I like cucumber and cheese. The sandwich should be refreshing.

They are very good sandwiches. I also like to put a big slice of tomato in the sandwich if I have one.

I love cucumber. I'm not eating that in sandwich. I'm eating the cucumber separately.

@snowy22315 I just remember in old English novels, the hoi-poloi always had wafer-thin cucumber and watercress sandwiches, and drank out of fine china cups with their little fingers in the air.

Yes, I've had a similar sandwich, made with cream cheese, cucumber slices and a thin sliced brown bread(my sister bought it). Yummy!

I didn't even put mayo in it, just very simply with the cukes and cream cheese with bread of course.
