So, I had purchased one a while back and found it in the drawer. They are so good. I think they are even better than peaches which I also like alot. It made a perfect dessert after supper and I am sure they are loadedw with vitamin C and all sorts of other goodness. Do you love mangoes too?

Peaches are good, but to have a really good one I think you have to get them almost fresh off the tree, juicy and ripe. I had one that I remember having as a kid, so juicy and ripe. I still remember how delicious it was to this day.

@snowy22315 We grew peaches on our farm while I grew up there. Also apples, plums, cherries, grapes... whatever dad could get to grow and produce, we had it and I loved it.
I picked a dozen peaches from a friend's tree a few days ago... Sooo good!

@snowy22315 I love eating tomatoes fresh off the vine while they're still hot from the sun.

Yes I like them a lot and I just had a flash back. When I was young and my parents had an ice cream machine, they made a mango sherbet once. It was tasty.

I love mango anything. I will pick that over any other flavor if it is available.

Yes, that kind of is the case for all fruits to a greater or lesser extent.

@snowy22315 Mangoes are kind of a gamble though . . . not as forgiving in taste as some other fruits.

I love them. To me they just taste kind of like an exotic peach.

I am sure you can probably grow them there, or close by places do.

@snowy22315 They're mostly grown a bit further north where it's warmer.

They are my favorite fruit. I eat them like crazy at least one a day. While in China the doctors there told me not to eat them so much as they are high in sugar (apparently higher than most fruits) so I replace them with apples on some days.
