Good morning everyone. Yesterday my mother and I went to church service. I found the pastor a little shy to do the preaching, but then he got excited and felt more comfortable. And it was a blessed service, with several messages for our hearts. I saw my mother get emotional at the pastor's words. I respected her moment and decided not to speak or ask her anything. At one point the Pastor was also moved. I expected little and left there surprised. Often we don't expect much from the simplest people, but they can totally surprise us. Nothing better than sincerity of heart. It is effective and inspiring communication. I really enjoyed going to church.

What's the pastor's homily why your mother became emotional?

He talked about never giving up, nor being discouraged because of sorrows and difficulties. My mother still suffers a lot from the loss of my grandmother. She's only been in this process for 1 year. Even though she is doing well, grief is a pain that always comes and goes. As time goes on, my mother will feel better about it.

I am glad that both your mother and you were moved by the Pastor's sermon.

I was surprised. My mother was more moved because she is still struggling with the pain of grief. But I'm glad she's letting the pain out. Crying often brings relief.

How long do you have to follow the church service?

It is usually an hour long, sometimes a little longer. But it is bearable.
