Twin carrot top, twin egg yolks

I have been blessed with twins several times in the past month. When I was at Sakurajima in July, my landlady gave me eggs from the farmer's market. In those ten eggs were two that had double yolks!
Then the other day I bought five carrots at the market. One of them, instead of having one sprout of green on top, had two right next to each other on the same carrots!
Have you found interesting foods like that? Kind of like a four-leaf clover, and one of my friends found a five-leaf clover the other day so I guess they were super lucky!

I've found a four leaf clover once. My daughter can sit at the same patch of clover and keeps finding them. When I was a kid, our chickens often laid double yolked eggs. (Dad said that usually happened with young chickens when they first started laying eggs. After they get older, it stops happening.)

Were they bigger ones than usual? I was surprised at how big the egg was and then it had two yolks.

@petatonicsca Yes, if the soil is a bit coarse or hard, the carrots will fork.

I didn't even know they existed. I've seen ones that had "legs".

I have found four-leaf clover before, but I've never heard of a five-leaf one. That's pretty special!

I don't think I've ever gotten a double-yolked egg in all of my 60 years. You are lucky!
