have you ever been given the wrong information about something quite important

August 26, 2022 2:32am CST
someone told me a friend had died, I never questioned it or brought it up with other people who knew him because I thought it would upset them so I was quite surprised when I got a friend request on facebook from him ....it turns out they must have told me the wrong name about who had died.......oh well it gave us a good story and a few laughs

I suppose it happens occasionally for people to interpret what they hear incorrectly. Hearing something like that it's better to double check so there's no confusion at all.

I guess people sometimes get the facts wrong or misinterpret what they hear. I'm glad your friend is alive and well.

It happens, especially on Facebook. I am not on FB so it has never really happened to me, but l always check and double check when l hear certain types of news.
