Your Dream Destination!

Do you have a dream destination, a destination you sometimes daydream about?
Other than our honeymoon cruise 26 years ago, I've never been outside of the U.S., but I do have certain places outside of the U.S. that I would love to go to sometime in the future.
I would love to travel to Ireland, Scotland, and Germany. Actually, I would really like to travel to any country that is really, really old and has castles, LOL! I would love to go to India and South Korea as well, and probably more places than I'm not familiar with. I guess I'm mostly curious about other lands, cultures, and the wonderful people from other countries!
The reality is that, if we did travel internationally, it would probably be on a cruise, which can be a little constrictive as to choice, but which is ultimately easier to book in one go.
That being said, what is YOUR dream destination? Is it in your home country? Is it outside your home country? And let's say money is not a factor, so we can go a little crazy!

I have never been to Japan and that is a country I would love to visit. I have been almost everywhere in Europe, I have visited almost all the states in the United States and many Islands in the Caribbean. I have visited the North Africa, but never Asia.

My dream is to return to the farm where my late grandmother lived in the interior of Panama which is in the province of Cocle since the area has been upgraded with electricity .

@gtdoss I think my cousins now own the farm if it has not been sold to someone else.

I recently posted about my dream destination. It is to Mackinaw Island and stay at the Grand Hotel and venture around the island.

I have been to all my dream destinations, so if I could return, it would be New England.

I love traveling and all my traveling plans are running behind the schedule due to the pandemic. Hope to resume international travel from December. Keeping fingers crossed.
I don't have any dream destination as such, but would like to cover as much as possible. We decided to see all the wonders of the world. Husband is done with all( he used to have lots of business travel) but I am just done with three of them out of seven. I hope to see the others too in my lifetime.

While I have not explored many locations - especially Beaches, special Himalayan places and others in India, New Zealand and Switzerland are on my Dream Destination list
Seychelles Islands would be an addition as I have heard that it has great Coastal scenery and water.
Maldives is also an option but somehow Maldives feels like too Ultra-rich like.
May I know why you prefer a Cruise over Air Travel?

I´m finishing the last arrangements to go on a 3 week dream vacation with my grandson to Aruba. I have had all sorts of problems to conquer but finally I´m going in 6 days.

For sure, a European vacation would be nice, but my dream destinations these days include places with a tropical environment.

@gtdoss - If I were young, with my good health, I would be more than happy to go all round the world. But in February 2021, we had a snowstorm in Texas. That was when I realized I can't take the cold! We lost power for almost 2 weeks. The apartment had no light or heat. I stayed in bed under layers of covers. I was so miserable.

In 1972 I spent 10 days in Australia and 5 days in New Zealand--I fell in love with New Zealand! WOW! The people and the country are beautiful!!

I am not sure they are "dream destinations," but certainly there are places I have not been that I would like to visit. The Philippines would be one. Europe. Australia. There are some places (though few) in the U.S. I have not been to. Traveling will definitely be a part of my retirement years, that's for sure, although we do travel quite a bit even now.
