Hello, I'm Autumn and I'm new to the lot so this my first post. I enjoy crocheting immensely. I love making things and being creative. I'm not very physically active due to mobility issues so it helps to keep me busy and makes me feel like I'm being somewhat productive.

Welcome to the "Lot"! There are plenty of other people that are crafty that post here. I'm one of them. I currently am laid up recovering from a broken ankle, my scooter fell on my left ankle and broke the ankle in 3 places. One of the breaks had to be surgically repaired and last Tuesday I was sawed out of the cast and put in a walking boot. It doesn't help the pain any, but it's nice being able to take the boot off and shower and let the leg air out some.
I design and make teddy bears and have done so for the past 40 years. I sell them in various places and have hit the secondary market. I have a huge stack of bears cut out waiting for me to sew them together, which will happen in a few days. I have to wait for the pain medication to be filled. I'm still hurting from the break (I heard it break when the scooter fell on it. I didn't feel the pain then, but man it hurt later!!!) Anyway, besides making and dressing bears I also crochet, knit, tat, make jewelry and so much more.
Do you sell your creations? Have you thought of crocheting miniature teddy bears? If not, I have a booklet that I can copy and send you. They're fun to do.

Hello and welcome, I enjoy crochet too. It is much easier than knitting. I like the colours of your wool ,they remind me of a sunflower.

Welcome to the wonderful community here and I hope you enjoy it here. My younger daughter is 16 and she is a pro with crochet. She started doing it from young age of six and just loves it. During pandemic and lockdown, I learnt a little bit of crochet from her and finished two small projects. I am still to get a hang of it.
