Team? Actually I don’t know why I’m laughing, it’s a great way to describe ‘us’. We’ve had one of the driest summers on record. Not that they go back that far, but it’s all we’ve got to go on. Late 19th century onwards I think, but I could be wrong. I often am. I don’t think Samuel Pepys wrote about such things in his diary. Or did he? Anyway, it’s lovely to ‘see’ you on here. I think it’s great you have a room above the roofline. It means you can check for tile damage and throw things at the pigeons when they do that annoying courtship dance early doors like they do. We are expecting stormy weather next week, so you must be sending it my way. Please send some love with it as I need it.

We've had our fair share of daily thunderstorms for the past week. it's a bit refreshing because it's been a fairly dry summer. The thunderstorms are usually over in a couple of hours, but we're happy to have them.

Very dark, with lightnings and thunders, but only a few drops of rain.

It's been storming in Aurora, Mo, since around 2 pm this afternoon. Lots of thunder, lightning and rain but the power and internet hasn't gone out.... yet. And I hope it doesn't go out. That is a beautiful photo you took, though.

That is a stormy sky. We had no storm or rain today. We’ve had so much rain it’s nice to have one day without rain.
