I made lunch today because I got up so early. Additionally, Henry the typhoon is affecting us. The weather is frigid as expected, therefore we must find a way to keep warm. To make it happen, I made a straightforward, delicious bowl of "Chicken Noodle Soup," leaving out the sliced hotdogs. Due to the recent severe rain, I am too sluggish to buy any. Do you enjoy preparing soup in your home?

@LadyDuck I am glad that it did not make my city experienced a strong one. I always think that having soup is best during rainy days.

Never realized that your place was affected by the typhoon that is going farther away from the Philippines. In my place, it is also drizzling but it seems that it's not that strong and I guess this is not part of the typhoon that is raging on the high seas right now.

@cacay1 It is still forming, we are in the "habagat" season where torrential rains are expected to come and at some point flood some areas because this.

@Shavkat True good thing that the typhoons that entered our territory didn't land fall anymore and stayed farther as I know they were super typhoon categories so were lucky that it didn't come in.

I hope that Henry the typhoon will be mild and will go away quickly. I make chicken soup often but I rarely put noodles in it, instead I put carrots and celery in mine.

Uhm... you put hotdogs in soup? You know chicken goes into chicken noodle soup, right? We make a lot of soups and stews during the winter months.

Some Filipinos put some sliced hotdogs in it. I also put sliced chicken with this noodle soup.

You make your chicken noodle soup quite different than mine, and I never put hot dogs in it. But it still sounds delicious.

Most mommies put some sliced hot dogs. The main purpose is to make it so inviting for kids to eat it. By the way, I also put some cabbage in it.

@Shavkat I can't imagine it would be bad. Soup is good any way one makes it, really, and you can put damn near anything in one.
