Flooding In Georgia

United States
September 4, 2022 10:24pm CST
Half the country is burning up, the South is flooding. I hate to see the fast burning fires, on our side flood, and they are watching a tropical storm Earl. Seems like no where we live we can't catch a break. Its awful to see cars under water, and homes filling up with water. I sure hope Earl don't develope into a hurricane. Stay safe. Looks like we are all affected one way or another.

I am also hoping that Earl does not come anywhere near the U S this year.

So many disasters recently. The flooding in Pakistan was terrible with over a thousand lives lost.

@Kandae11 No. It did from the river, we live on higher ground. Our problem would be going out, and not being able to get up the hill. Thank God for higher ground.

There are definitely some weather events going on. Luckily for us, it is pretty normal at the moment, and I hope it stays that way.

The weather made the news over here. You don't realise how big the US is until you read of heatwaves, droughts and wildfires in one part while the other half is slowly disappearing underwater

I consider myself lucky, so far in this part of the US the worst we've gotten is humidity which we are not used to but at least that isn't as devastating as fire or flooding. I am praying for everyone, including animals, to be safe from all that devastation.

This is incredible! There are floods being reported all over the USA. I'm not used to this. And we aren't even having a busy hurricane season!

We still need rain in most places here in Europe. Many countries have water restrictions.

My part of the world is starting to get typical morning autumn fog so maybe there's hope here.

We often hear about the catastrophes here but we haven't heard much about these latest ones.
