I must get back the josh

In the Indian army the officer asks the unit " How's the josh?". The jawans ( soldiers) reply, " High, sir." Josh means enthusiasm, vigour, energy. Soldiers need it to succeed in their missions. So do we, if we wish to succeed in our efforts. For some days, I've been feeling a lack of josh. I must get it back for I have to accomplish some targets before it's late. Do you have these down moments some time?

Yes, I do feel very tired sometimes. I do less work and order my food and don't cook.

I understand this tiredness. Take care of yourself and keep yourself healthy as best as possible.

In Japanese it's "genki," healthy, enthusiastic, ready to go. I'm genki most of the time in the morning but past 7:00 pm not so much.

Genki is a nice word to express this " ready to go" spirit.
