All of us relish a glass of beer with good lunch. Recently I have been to the top-of-the-line signature restaurant the Copper Chimney. These are a chain of restaurants all over the subcontinent and in the city of Mumbai, there are three of them. The restaurant is famous for its non-vegetarian dishes and Indian cuisine is the watchword.
I went for lunch a few days back, on my visit to India, and decided the best way to have a good beer and good food was the Copper Chimney. Fair enough, I ordered Kingfisher beer and along with it some exclusive snacks including chicken tikka and fried fish.
I also partook of a special signature dish exclusive to this eating Paradise referred to as the Patiala Chicken. This is boneless breast chicken prepared in a white egg gravy sauce and gives you a taste like nothing you could have eaten before. That is if you like Indian cuisine. The dish is slightly sweetish with no chilies and will be liked by many foreigners including Americans.
It was a wonderful lunch that stretched on for close to two hours with good beer thrown in and I hope to go there again to partake of a different menu next time. I have just come to know that on Saturday and Sunday they have a buffet lunch; maybe I will try that the next time.
