Crossing my mind

So it's mid afternoon in my country. The city is still quiet. The streets are not as busy as usual here. There is definitely no traffic at all on the avenues and streets of the second largest city of Kenya, Mombasa to be precise.
Perhaps this could be caused by the rising in prices of the petroleum products in the country following an advertisement made by the relevant authorities a couple of days back.
This takes place while the country is in its transition mode after the duly elected president assumes office recently.
What matters most is the higher inflation rate which have caused the rise in prices of almost everything in the country. Probably the people of Kenya are now crossing their minds on the fate of their lives despite the political instabilities that causes the ravage in the economy.

Our prices are rising too but we’re better off than many countries. I see you’re from Kenya. I don’t know as much as I should about your country We do have jobs open and many businesses are hiring. Do you have jobs open in your country?

@Treborika I’m sorry. I hope everything works out for the best. It sounds very stressful.

We barely have jobs here. The unemployment rate is 85% of the job demand in my country. Getting a job here is very stressful. The limited chances are sold, if you don't have connections you can't get one. Impunity and corruption is very rampant.

@Treborika The raising of prices really is such an issue in so many places. It's quite scary!

@CarolDM You know the Us government has a lot of money that is what we believe. So no matter how hard it's strucked by the world wide inflation which is caused by the Russian-ukraine war it's economy still remains uprightly.

@Treborika I'm sorry, this isn't for you. It's for the new person that just started on myLot. If you look at what I wrote, it's addressed to the newbie, not you.
