A Little Abba

I can honestly say that there are few times I have played any Abba on my guitar. It's not that I dislike the group or their songs. I just tend to typically play other stuff.
But either way, I tool around sometimes with songs that are 'outside my norm,' and often record my "toodling."
I only played a short snippet of this one from Abba, S.O.S. and decided to upload it and share it just for fun. It is short and sweet—hope you enjoy it. Sorry, I had nothing to post this morning and after all it has been a while since I shared any music stuff.

@sica98 Hmm... have you not seen the "foods" that Jim cooks?

Maybe one of these days I will sit down and do the whole song. Might be fun. Even make it a full on cover with bass and drums. I'd enjoy that actually. Haven't done a full on cover in a while, and even the last song I did was just an instrumental with no lyrics...just tooling around.

I am glad you noticed it. I slowed it down quite a bit and tried to make it somber. I usually take many liberties with most of my 'renditions.' I am not saying any of it is any good. But I prefer not to simply emulate—that's for cover bands. I just do it for fun.
True about the cat. I don't know what his fascination is, but he always wants in there. lol

Abba is my favorite group of singers. I like their songs like Money, Money, Money; Fernando, Chiquitita, Waterloo, Dancing Queen, among others.

Looks like the jigs up on that cat's hiding place! The kitty's expression says it all. Very funny Not my genre of music but I like the stripped-down acoustic version. Nice interpretation and your vocals did not need a "distress call" after all

I quite like ABBA. S.O.S. is one of my favorite ABBA songs. You sang it beautifully.
