Do we feed our faith?

"Feed your faith and your doubts will starve and die." I recently heard this expression.
It does seem to make a lot of sense. Usually what we feed gets stronger and what we starve will eventually die.
I see some people's faith weakening and some people whose faith is barely alive.
So a good question to discuss and get some feedback would be: How do we feed our faith so that it is strong and vibrant?

I never lose my faith to the Lord. I start and end my days with prayer and when anything good happens I look up and say Thank you Lord

Spending time with God through Bible reading and prayers, helping others, hearing Scripture based sermons, and having good fellowship with other believers.

There are of things to do to feed or strengthen our faith in God. Pray, read the Scriptures, render service, help the poor and the needy, among others.

@kanuck1 Just fine. My beloved wife and I just celebrated our 71st birthday recently with our family in the newly opened mountain resort here.

By faith I guess you mean -religion.
I have always been confused about religion. I have dug up the ancient stories or 'mythology' circumscribing Hinduism; it didn't help me to connect the dots.
For me religion is doing good things to people.
For me religion is hope
Religion is humanity and faith is loyalty to yourself and the rest.

Faith is the courage to love God despite our doubts
Real faith lives despite any uncertainties.
How do we get that courage though?
Courage comes from constant loving, and from constant loving comes constant faith; all is connected within God, to God, within our self too.
The poet, Khalil Gibran, 1883 to 1931, described faith like this:
"Faith is an oasis in the heart which will never be reached by the caravan of thinking."
We can't think our way to faith then, but must embrace it with our heart.

There are a lot of interesting thoughts to think about in your comment!
I would say that a strong faith can be obtained by getting the right materials and taking the time to skilfully put them together just as one would build a strong castle. The materials would be: prayer, the Bible, discussions with those that have faith. ( See Luke 17:5; Hebrews chapter 11)

@kanuck1 Yes, faith certainly builds from a lot of the right inputs.
Prayer, Bible Study, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, certainly go a long way to building a strong faith.
