Looking to build a web server that can host more than one site

Would like to build a server so that my family can publish there ow web sites. I am not sure where to start or what to use i have been playing around with Abyss web server but I can not figure out how to put up/manage more than one site. Not sure what else I need to do to accomplish hosting for these sites. Any help, tools, resourses or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

You can have as many site as you want.. why dont u buy space from some web servise provider.. u wonot require to do any setting

Its a complicated setting. Instead I will advise you to go for free web hosting provider...

I would personally rent a datacentre as it would also include domain name registration and a higher internet connection but if your looking to create your own webserver I would suggest going to http://www.diywebserver.com/ and checking it out before doing anything.
