When you think that it cant be any worse, and worse happens...
Since the WW2 the word "Mobilisation" was officially announced for the first time.
Fortunately, i have recently got my permanent residence permit in Germany and it is better for me not to go to Russia in the nearest months, although i had planned to visit my parents on Christmas holidays for the first time from Pandemy.
I guess, they say "partial" about general mobilisation just like they say "special military operation" about the war, so it is bad idea to be law abident citizen there nowadays...
They say they need 300k people, but who will control that number? It might also be 1 million. Secondly, they say they need 300k people and the human losses are 6k people dead. Why do they need 300k then? It is obvious that the number of human losses are downplayed a lot.

It's not safe to go to Russia. It appears that the war won't end in the very near future.

It is not safe to go to Russia and I am sure that your parents will tell you the same.

I would not go back there if I were you, be glad to be safe where you are at, just look at the long line of cars with men of fighting age trying to flee to borders towards neighboring countries. Only a change of leadership would end this one man's obsession, desperation and madness in my opinion.

I can't say much about anything here as I understand it partially. Sorry that you can't visit your parents. It's not safe going to Russia or Ukraine amidst this war. Hope the war ends soon.
