The Best Toast Around

I recently made a discovery that I’d like to share with all of you. Replacing butter with olive oil is a way to elevate toast to another level of deliciousness(is that even a word?)
Anyway, when you drizzle lots of extra virgin olive oil on your bread and pop in in the oven for a few minutes, you get toast with a special kind of crispness that I don’t even have words to describe. It just melts in your mouth. The more olive oil you drizzle, the better the texture. Here’s a photo of mine that I had for breakfast a little while ago.

But olive oil is costlier than butter

I’m afraid by the time I’m done drizzling olive oil, one piece of toast carries a hefty amount of calories!

I’m having a good day, well except for the fact that my car’s engine got hot and had to be parked. How about you?

I think that Italians have it right. They have olive oil on a lot of food.

That sounds good, I have a toaster oven with a feature for toast, so I am sure it will come out very well,
