This morning started out a little rough with computer issues. This geriatric computer has some problems and instead of leaving well enogh alone I made the mistake of trying to correct some of them, which got the computer confused and unable to start. Yikes two hours of this, but I finally have it straightened out. At least as good as it was before. I had already started using the chormebook, but now I am back to old reliable.

I like my old computer more than my Laptop, it's not new, but I like better my desktop.

I am just so much more familiar with this one, and it is comfortable for me. This is an Acer Aspire. Althought I do have a chromebook and Dell with Win 10 on it, if I have to get another one someday, I would get one of these. I have had it for 10 years.

@snowy22315 - My old desktop is also 10 years old, it is an Acer and I like it more than the newer ones I bought.

@LadyDuck Yes, Acer is a good brand. Longevity is important when you spend big bucks on a puter. I supsect in the next couple of years I will be buying one.

@snowy22315 The way it looks right now , returning to the city would be the best option. Thing is - l do not want to. Anyway , promises have been made, so we'll see.

My desktop started giving me trouble a few months back and it still doesn't work right. Frustrating. Now I'm using my daughters laptop

I haven't used a desktop for years...no need. A big display is fun though.

It's easy to get in a real pickle if you start trying to fiddle with settings or whatever.

I already discarded my old laptop. Now I'm using my cellphone for my online writing job and my video sharing to YouTube channel.

Computers can get 'annoyed' sometimes
