Good afternoon from this side of the planet . It's 1:30 PM here as I write this post. It's my first break since 5 AM in the morning. I have been on toes since then. And I truly deserve this break to rest my feet and relax with mylotting . I plan to be here for another hour or more, resting myself on the couch with feet up on the pillows and my phone for mylotting. I have played some old Bollywood songs while I enjoy mylotting . I am getting better with mylotting on phone.. Rightly said that practice makes perfect. After finishing all morning chores, I rushed to work at 7:40. It was a hectic schedule at work today. I worked from 8_12 and was back at 12:30. Finished arranging two kitchen cabinets and then had my lunch. Now I want to relax and mylot for a while. House is almost settled after renovation. At least things are sorted out and reached their right room. Now we need to put them to their right places We had booked carpet cleaning services for today. They came at 9:30 AM and did a great job with all the three carpets. . Husband was working from home and took care of that. When I came back home, the cleaner was still there. A very polite and professional youth. Now the carpets are out in sun and they should be fully dry in an hour or two. Well, they blow dry it upto 90 percentage but still a sun dry makes it more fresh. It's bright sunny right now.. But it may start raining any time. That's what has been happening in the last few days. It's bright sunny day and all of a sudden it starts raining heavily in the afternoon. So, keeping an eye on the sun while I mylot . I would move to notifications and then reading your posts. Leaving you with the picture of this bright hibiscus from my garden on this sunny day. Take care. Enjoy mylotting

Thank you. Glad that you liked it. Hope the rain was needed and welcomed. Here we have got too much rain in the last two years. Hardly any break and even flooding happened twice. So, we are not happy to see the rain. It would be good to get a break from wet weather for a while.

That hibiscus is no doubt common but your photo is stunning. We had dark clouds last evening and I think it rained in the night.

Thank you. Glad that you liked the picture. The garden is in mess as it was not cared for in the last two months due to renovation work.. Glad to see such blooms there in the jungle. Getting the beautiful garden back is the next goal and I would do that a week after Diwali. I have to rest after the festival . We had heavy rain last afternoon and it rained throughout the night. The news of many areas flooded again are circulating again. Bangalore had a rain havoc this year.

@allknowing The rain is creating havoc here. Seems like it might ruin the festival of Diwali. I will not start with gardening till mid November. I have a lot of obligations before that. It's totally messed up and would be a lot of work.. It's overwhelming to even think about it.

@arunima25 See what I'm saying? They should have scheduled you to work during the festival of lights... Even at night you could still see without the school spending extra money.

@DaddyEvil Oh my God! You have all the luxury of time at your end. And still you can't see me enjoying some bit of it. A few days to relax...we all deserve it. I work on hourly rate there. So, the school wouldn't like to keep me for extra time.

@LadyDuck Here, rain is creating all havoc again. Rains whole night heavily and the city is flooded in the morning. We are having the highest rainfall in the history of 150 years. We fear that Diwali celebration might also be dampened by the rain. I hope the bad weather there is not as bad as you expect it to be. Hope that prediction goes wrong.

@JudyEv Yes, it was damp till late evening because the clouds kept covering the sun throughout the day. And then it started raining . We have been keeping it to dry in the sun for the last two days but still.. There has to be bright sun. Every night my husband is blow drying it with vaccum. But it is not good enough . We might leave it out in gazebo for a while. It will come inside room only when we feel that it's fresh. Else the room will stink.

It rained in the late afternoon and whole night. Some parts of the city are flooded again. We did save it from raining but still it didn't feel that fresh.. Today again we have kept it out in sun. But seems like another such day of clouds and sun playing hide and seek..I don't like a damp carpet.

My garden is in mess as I didn't take care of it in the last two months with all renovation work going on. Such pretty blooms in the Jungle garden ( more weeds than the plants) do make me happy. Now, after some rest post Diwali celebration, I plan to bring my garden back to the beautiful garden.

You have many carpets in your house? Carpets are not that common here but there are homes with carpets. I wish when we have our new house there will be a carpet but I think they collect a lot of dust

Carpets are not common here too. We have one in living hall around our centre table, one each in my two daughters room. They sit down to do various art and crafts work. They are small size and take only some space in the room. And I do a regular vaccum cleaner cleaning there. They are easy to fold also when not in use. I am not a big fan of carpets either. They do collect dusts. I have tiles floor that can be easily dusted and mopped.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful hibiscus today. It's nice to see something so pretty on this cold day here in my part of the myLot world. I'm also propped up myLotting right now but on my laptop. I can't see well enough to use my phone. I need a bigger screen and I can type faster on the laptop. Hope you enjoyed your relaxing time after your busy day.
