My first job was a temporary job. I was waiting for the result of the university entrance examination. I was hired by Hallmark as a sales assistant at one of their stores. It was a great experience. I learned how to serve customers at the store. As the store also sold some accessories other than greetings cards, some customers asked for advice from the sales person. I felt gratified when I could help the customer make a decision. I also enjoyed the feeling of earning money for the first time.
What was your first job? Did you enjoy the job and the feeling of earning money for the first time?

I first job was a government job but had to resign after 15 days as my children were too small and I had no one to look after them while I was away at work. It was a well paid job.

@Beestring Working is a good experience for anyone wanting to make something of themselves and have a good and strong future. The earlier those lessons start, the better. In my opinion.

My first job was salesperson. I did not continue my training. After two days, I did not show up. I don't like the work. I thought I was not the right fit for the job.

My first job was when I graduated from nursing school and worked as a baby nurse in the labor and delivery part of the hospital. It was a wonderful job and I did it until I got married and started having my own kids.
