Who the heck is this? And what is he doing inspecting my house?

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kitty coming in through my open front door yesterday. Except kitty had somehow become mocha.
"What beast is this?" I thought. When I got a good look I saw what appeared to be a cat with a scrunched up face and a walrus mustache.
The mystery beast stopped long enough for me to pet it, inspected my apartment, and then settled in to eat some of Kitty's food.
I noticed he had very dirty feet.
I was able to get him out the front door after a few more pets, and there he sat, meowing, for half an hour.
Kitty watched the whole thing from my neighbor's balcony and then fell asleep.
Later, Mystery Beast did the same thing to my downstairs neighbor, a nice surfer dude who is also a sucker for animals.
Any idea what breed this cat might be? I guess he's slave shopping. We'll see if he shows up today.

I'm not willing to swear to it but the face looks like a Persian cat with the scrunched up nose. (A rather dirty one, at that.)
Are you willing to have two masters?

@GoAskAlice It was that weirdly scrunched nose for me.

You might be glad that kitties don't seem to have long memories. These cats with the scrunched up faces bug me a lot. I feel sorry for them. I like the more normal looking ones. Persians have the scrunched up faces.

As I sit here checking out myLot, Bitty is styling the back of my hair. I had a kitty with the scrunched up face and long hair, once. They are more prone to respiratory problems.

My cat moved in with a wealthy couple, one block from home. They bought her the expensive cat-food, I always got the cheaper brands. Mindy was brilliant!

@TheHorse You'll be surprised what a cat will lead you to do. As I said in my discussion I buy Temptation cat treats for my fiends, they get them twice a day.

It looks like someone's pet Persian has wandered away. Be looking for an offer of a reward.

Looks grumpy to me.
Actually, I think he’s helping Kitty in the worldwide cat domination plot.

@TheHorse — and the squirrels. A couple charged up my driveway this morning and demanded peanuts.
Not that I’m complaining. We need real squirrels to replace the squirrelly people in Washington.

Maybe he is a Persian cat. Maybe he is a street cat is why he had dirty feet. I think it is nice that your downstairs neighbor did a good thing toward the cat. Maybe the cat only wanted some food. Either people are animal people or not.

Your "mystery" guest looks like he might have some Siamese in with the Persian. It's hard to say if he has been homeless because of the fur, but I will say that cats are curious creatures and will enter to check out if the place might be acceptable for them to settle into. Your's apparently passed inspection since he sat outside the door meowing for half an hour, part of the passing grade was that there was food, water and Kitty smell.
Hopefully the surfer dude will adopt the cat, if it happened here at my house, I would be busily adopting the poor thing. I'm a sucker for critters too.

@TheHorse Shoot, being the local "crazy cat lady" isn't all bad. You meet new people and make new friends and people who you want to leave you alone do so. I earned that labeled that when I moved in with Petey and Jonesy, but I kind of shed the rep after a bit. My next-door neighbor was concerned last night when I was coming home and confessed that he was joking with me when he made the cat comments. I knew that I also know that he has a crush on me.

I'd say it's a Persian. They have the scrunched up noses. I feel sorry for them as they always look thoroughly disgruntled.

I have searched it using lens app and it is a Persian cat which known as the Persian longhair. And it is a long-haired breed of cat characterized by a round face and short muzzle.
