Decided to start a 14-day free trial on Ancestry.com. I have a few questions about my family I am searching for and thought I would start here.
Was scrolling through the pages and found this photo. My Mother is at the bottom left. I have never seen this photo before. Her two sisters are beside her and her parents in the back. I am crying to see this one, but in a good way.
Not the answers I was looking for, but a big special surprise to see this photo. She died at the early age of 39. I don't have a lot of photos of her. This has really made my day.
Have you been curious and looked at family history on Ancestry.com I wonder? With most of my family gone, this has proven to be a great place to start looking for answers. I cannot stop looking at this photo. Had to share.

Your mother was a very strikingly good look lady.
Our son went thru Ancestry as we know very little about how my hubby's mother came to Ontario.
She is from out west and she always darkened up with some sun and our son was searching to see if she had an Aboriginal in her-she did not.
My Dad's family tree was traced back to the early 1800's in Ireland, my mother's family back a couple of generations in Belgium, and my hub's family not as far back.
I hope that you will find the answers that you are seeking.
I showed a black and white photo of me taken when I was a few months old today to our son, he told me that is where Harper gets her sweet little lips, he thinks that she favours my baby picture.

Well thank you very much. I thought so too, of course. So many questions about this photo. Look sleek it was in their yard. And her older brother is missing. But either way, I am so happy to see this one. I just have a few questions about my Mother I am trying to find. Wasn't expecting this photo.

How nice to find a pic of your mom. I have seen some recent pictures lately of my dad and his brothers when they were young. There was one of my grandmother and him at the beach. I thought my grandmother was one of her younger sisters. Her face looked so much thinner, and her hair was her natural blonde color.

Luckily, I have been blessed with lots of relatives on both sides and having tons of photos and mostly know exactly the roots.
I am glad you were able to find this precious photo Carol. I hope you will find the information you are looking for specifically.
It is a lovely photo of everyone there and your dear Mom RIP..so young to pass on.

That's great that you found that picture. Most of my relatives have taken quite a few pictures through the years. I have many.

I don't have any photos about my ancestors. I have already worked out my 3rd generation it's hard to go further for there are no available data to get. I try FamilySearch.com but it's still uncertain.

That is a wonderful photo, you found very special memories. I do not know if I could find anything on Ancestry com since my parents were born and raised in Latvia, came to NY and I was born in NY. It seems rather complicated to me. Best of luck with your further search.

I can understand how much that picture means to you Carol and what a great find on Ancestry. I haven't looked at Ancestry even though I think about it occasionally.

That's a lovely photo of your mother! So glad you found it. Do you know who put it up there?
I did have a look on Ancestry some years ago but didn't find much because I'm the person who has most of the family history info, apart from my cousin who has been doing some digging looking for older ancestors on our great-grandfather's side, but with the name of Smith that's pretty tricky!

How wonderful for you! Yes, I tried looking up my ancestry; but I am first-generation American; and I couldn't go back further than my grandparents.
