What I'm Thankful for Today

My last thankful post was in March. I don't know if you missed these, but I'll give it a shot.
Today, I'm thankful for the fact I'm alive. I don't have much energy, but I can still think, work, and play. Yes, play as I've kept my brain active playing PC games.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War, a novel I need to finish. Maybe I can get it finished by the end of the year. That would be nice.
I'm thankful I still have food in my fridge and pantry. If I can get rid of this virus, I can go shopping before I run out.
I'm thankful for heat. This virus has me freezing most of the time. So, having the heat on gives me some sense of normalcy.
I'm thankful for the cool fall weather. It would be nice to see a stabilizing weather pattern, instead of the yo-yo roller-coaster up and down temperatures we've seen since fall began.
I'm thankful for my son with whom I have a wonderful relationship.
Most of all, I'm thankful for my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. Without Him, I would live a hopeless life. With Him, I have a purpose.
Okay, that's what I'm thankful for. How about you? What are you thankful for today?
Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I like your thankful posts, and am glad that you posted one.
We all need to stop, read and take stock of we individually have to be thankful for.
Every day I give thanks for my health, for that of my hubby, son, daughter-in-law and the twins.
And that is just the tip of the iceberg, we have plenty to be thankful for.

@just4him Thank you for kind comments since surveys can be wonderful one day and the next day it can a bad day.

I say that pretty much every day, just thankful to be alive. One of my thoughts is always even the worst day above ground is better than being underground, so I take each day with all the highs and lows and good and bad gladly.
Great that you are still making what seems to be good process on the writing. Lots to look forward to for you.

I have missed these posts. I feel they are important. Hell, we both need to stop once in a while and remind ourselves why it's important to be thankful.

Thankful fo another day, being able to do my work online, and thankful for the three kitties that keep me company, You know it is funny with cats at first they saw I worked all day in my workroom and stayed in the front room now they have decided it is best for everyone to be together so they find places to sleep in my workroom and we are all together in one place,

I always enjoyed your thankful posts and a reminder to be thankful even if it's just the simplest thing like waking up in the morning.
I'm thankful that the sun is shining today and my knees aren't in so much pain.

@just4him Its funny how the weather is the indicator for my knees to be ok or painful. How are your knees doing these days? Any problems since you had them replaced?

@Marilynda1225 Knee replacement was the best thing I did for my knees. The only alert I have now of bad weather comes from headaches if the weather is bad enough. I don't get those often either.

I'm thankful for my improving health, on new medication. God has given me life in Michigan, a beautiful state that I love. I'm thankful for my husband and my two children, who love me unconditionally. Our provisions are always met, because God is so good to us.

I'm thankful that I saw your post today, because it encourages me.
I'm thankful that my 3 year old granddaughter is now recovering from strep. We were worried about her lethargy and fever, but she was back to playing and singing happy songs this morning.
