Good Morning Later on, I am going to do another laundry, I do not like my new machines at all. Also, later on my sister is coming to visit for a while, which will be fun, I will be able to play Scrabble in French with her. The weather is slowly getting colder, I see frost on the roofs in the early morning. If you celebrate Halloween, enjoy it tomorrow.

Did your Mom have a clothing line outside? We had 2 of them being 8 people in the house.

@marlina We lived in an apartment, she had 4 clothing line outside hanging over the balcony. We were 7 people in the house.

Our washer is about 5 years old, but it is one of those that uses less water, and I find it noisy. Newer is not necessarily better all of the time. Enjoy your visit and scrabble game with your sister.

@marlina I have had to change my laundry detergent since using this washing machine. The regular tide liquid tends to build up and I have to use the washing machine cleaner more frequently, so I switched to tide free and clear.

Don't know how I missed your post but here I am and hoping you are having a good day. We're having unseasonably warm days but I know they will be gone soon. This weekend we turn back the clocks and it's depressing that it will be dark so early

I remember helping my grandmother with wash out on the back porch. She had the old model washer that you had to ring the clothes and then hang them out on the line. She used starch and bluing on grampa's shirts.
