Where did my manners go?

I am not one who will grab the biggest piece in a tray nor rush to be the first one in the queue. But I do not know what got over me when I was on a package tour of Europe. We were taken round a chocolate factory in Germany and after the tour we were taken to a hall where we were given a talk on the various chocolates that they make in the factory . At the end of the lecture a tray of chocolates was passed around. I was sitting in the first row and I grabbed a fist full of chocolates. I was later told those at the back many did not get any. Was I totally disoriented that I forgot my manners? Whatever. That incident still haunts me. Image credit Pixabay

I think next time it is better for the chocolate factory to offer each one a little box of chocolates and then everybody will be satisified

You would think a chocolate factory could have provided more than just a tray of chocolates to those touring their factory. Cheapskate.

If those at the back did not get any chocolates, it only means that there were only few of them, The people who give out the chocolates should know that some people get several.

They should have replaced the missing chocolates so that everyone could enjoy and taste. You are not guilty.

@allknowing Do not feel guilty, they should have cared to be sure that everyone had chocolates to taste.

I can relate to doing something like that due to my desire to eat chocolates that I have never eaten in a long time.

I guess the chocolate made you forget that there are others behind you that will not be able to get their fair share. I guess you must have been craving it that you were not able to contain your feeling to get more than your share.

May be also because it had a 'foreign' tag. We Indians are crazy after anything foreign (lol) Even then I should have had some control (lol)

When it comes to chocolates, I sometimes lose control. . The factory should refill so that people at the back can get some.
