What Makes You Sleep Well?

I know there are many reasons one can sleep well. I sleep well when I am so tired and exhausted from work. I also sleep well after hours of walking at the lake or in the forest with my friend. I also sleep well after having an Ayurvedic body massage for an hour, etc…
Drinking a mug of hot milk or hot chocolate before going to bed helps me have a tight sleep. What I didn’t know before is that Kimchi, a Korean fermented cabbage side dish can help me sleep deep as well. That was what I found out a few days ago. I was so surprised.
A few days ago, I was craving for something salty, sour and spicy. It was already 10 in the evening. I searched for something for that kind of food in the fridge and in my pantry. Gladfully, I found a jar of Kimchi which I have bought a few weeks ago in an Asian shop nearby. I chewed 2 tablespoons of Kimchi slowly while watching a video. I was contented. The craving was gone and I went to sleep.
I have eaten for 3 consecutive evenings Kimchi before going to bed, before I realised that on those nights, I slept like a log. A very deep sleep.
My imported Kimchi is gone. I have to make my own tomorrow after buying the ingredients.
What makes you sleep well? Do you know that Kimchi can help you sleep tightly?
Thank you for reading. Have a nice day/evening to you.

I sleep very well after a very tiresome day. When the body becomes do fatigued and tired I tend to have a nice sleep and I can sleep like a baby actually.

I really don't like Kimchi. That is good to know Kimchi help you sleep. I have medications for sleep. I skip them one night and I had a lot of dreams I remember when I woke up. Now I don't have so much dreams again. I relax with music and meditations before sleeping

I am sure you enjoyed your kimchi.
I can only buy kimchi in an Asian store.
I am glad you have slept well @RebeccasFarm.

What makes us sleep well surely is individual and different from people to people. Should I eat cabbage in the evening I would feel sick all the night long, also warm milk gives me stomach pain. A piece of chocolate and a hot bath before going to bed help me to sleep better.

I made a powder of dry fruits and nuts today that I would take with warm milk to sleep well. Wish I had a place for Ayurvedic message near my house.

I haven't found anything that helps me sleep other than a big meal. I sometimes will fall asleep after lunch. Hope you have a nice week!

I had absolutely no idea that Kimchi could have sleep benefits. I'm glad you discovered this and can get some good quality sleep. I've never had Kimchi
Normally I don't have trouble falling asleep but sometimes I have trouble going back to sleep if I get up to use the bathroom.
