National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day

That is something that I need to do soon. I always end up with so many jars with a few spoonfuls in them that will never get eaten. Fruits and veggies get cleaned out weekly though cause you don't want that stuff going back in the fridge.
How often do you clean out your refrigerator?

We clean the fridge out whenever one of us notices mold in something that's stored in there. (I just threw out several bowls of I-don't-know-what a couple of days ago. They were something Pretty made and never ate.)
You only have to clean out the fridge once a year? Cool! I can stop looking and wondering.

I clean the bottom shelf every 2-3 months. The other shelves aren’t solid so they get wiped off if/when something spills.
Most of what I have in my refrigerator is tea and yogurt, and both get used quickly.

We try to clean up the leftovers every few days, food is too expensive to waste.
Otherwise, I am not the greatest at taking out the shelves and washing them down.
When I was younger I used to be much better at that job, I need to get to it next week when I am on vacation.

My mom was forever clean washing and cleaning out her fridge. I didnt take that after her. I am a bit slack too when it comes to that.

I need to clean the fridge inside. But I've nothing to throw out thankfully. I hate it when food gets thrown away.

I am constantly cleaning out the refrigerator, but it needs a good wiping down right now. Yes, I do have a lot of bowls. It is like individual portions ready to heat and eat.

I usually do mine on Fridays. I think I got in that habit because the weekends were hectic. But I keep up with it all pretty well, as I try hard to use the leftovers.
