Do You Believe In Life After Death?

I have no idea of course, but I guess the moment I die will be like the moment before being born.. The same place I was in 1940. Probably won't even know it - kinda like falling unconscious.
I keep hearing a few people I kinda know talk about our body being vehicles, and that this is just a shell, but I'm curious where people come to that conclusion. Is it a gut feeling? Or is it something you read and rang true?

That's the interesting thing -- things that can't be explained. I've had a few, but it wasn't anything worth mentioning.

I am on the fence but I have to try to believe in something if I ever want to see my son again. He was only 16 when I lost him and I practically live for seeing him again. Of course we have no proof but to believe and that gets very hard to do.
