A lovely table at a school fete

At our house-sit, we are only half an hour from the school where Vince used to work. They had a fete today so we drove there and walked around looking at all the displays. Vince was able to catch up with some of the teachers and staff that he once worked with. We bought some succulent plants and some jams and chutneys which will probably be Christmas gifts. In the photo, you can see a table that one of the senior students made. The framework is steel and the rest is jarrah, a native red wood. We were really impressed with the items made by the students. The school band also entertained us and were very easy on the ear. We came home to a rapturous welcome from the dogs. The surfboards on the table were also made and painted by the students. Edit: I think the surfboarfs are actually skate boards.
