21 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a fantastic day!
I'm thankful I woke early and got as much done as I did before exercise class.
I'm thankful that with the pain I was in when I woke up this morning, I could do the exercise class without a problem. It was moving the furniture on Saturday that was responsible for the pain.
I'm thankful that my friend called me and reminded me about the Book Club at the ADRC. I did a book reading today and sold 8 books. And ordered two more when I got home for those who wanted books. I only had two of each of my books. To say the least, they loved Legacy, the one I read today.
I'm thankful for my grandson. He texted me this morning and will be coming over soon. He's bringing me a turkey. He's my daughter's son that I haven't seen since last year. He works two jobs that I'm aware of. So, he's always busy.
I don't have stats for exercise and food. I haven't finished my final meal. I've only had breakfast and need to find something soon.

Not Thankful for my mother being sick. Not Thankful for spending too much money. But I am thankful that I got some cat food. I'm thankful that I found out I lost a few pounds, but probably gained it yesterday.

@LadyDuck I'm going to be a guest. One of six. I'm doing the major part of the cooking, but I don't mind. When everything is done, my son will pick me up and take everything to his girlfriend's apartment. There will be six for dinner.

I am grateful that my print cartridge came in this afternoon as well as the garbage was picked up this morning by the city sanitation department.

@just4him I needed the print cartridge when I did since the current cartridge was very dry.

I'm thankful today for many things:
For a new day
for the birthday of a family member
for the good weather
for the delicious food on the table
for the giggles of our baby (he was able to let out a giggle today)
for the comfort of my bed
and for friends here on MyLot.

You've had a full blessed day. How lovely to see your grandson after it being a while. I'm thankful that even for my pain 24/7, I can still walk and do some things, good friends, family and the mini-Twix bar that was still in the cookie jar.
