So much to do and so little inclination

The photo has nothing to do with the post. It’s a little pig that was at the last house-sit. He is only a few inches tall but is very cute.
I’ve been very stiff the last two days but feel a bit less so this morning. I have quite a bit to do and even more that I should be doing but I’m finding it hard to get motivated. I don’t procrastinate too often any more but once a few things start to pile up then I start putting things off.
It’s early here. Once the sun is a bit higher, the solar panels will start their work and power will be cheaper. At that point, I’ll start the dish-washer and washing machine. I have some pots to wash, biscuits/cookies to make and the floors all need attention. And the ironing is piling up.
Later, we have to shop. Vince is out of some important tablets and tomorrow we’re having a jam session at Vince’s brother to celebrate his birthday and we need to get the ingredients for a salad and some savouries.
I guess I’d better get to it – but I’d rather be here talking to you all, even if you’re in bed asleep and not really listening.

Boy was that exhausting, you really shouldn't do that to us
It's funny how someone mentioning all the things they need to do makes another feel tired just thinking of what they are faced with ........ I plan to procrastinate, why do today what I can put off til tomorrow

Thanks. That's a nice thing to say. I did get quite a lot done in the end but I managed to get out of the vacuuming. It's one of my least favourite chores.

I can relate to that feeling of not wanting to work in the morning to do basic housecleaning like throwing out the trash and cleaning up the cat litter before doing computer work.

I woke up, I am listening. . . and thinking of the things I am putting off. I guess we should both get going.

Since you posted this at 5:32 pm in myLot land, there are several of us still awake and willing to talk to you, Judy.
I always combine chores when I can. While I'm in the kitchen cooking anyway, I also do the dishes and wipe down the counters. After Pretty and I eat, I let her know I just need to wash the supper dishes and she can do the floors.
I purposely don't buy clothes that need to be ironed. If they have a wrinkle or two, people can look somewhere else.

@JudyEv I see... why do you iron pillowcases and hankies?

@DaddyEvil I really needed to get on and get something done this morning. Sometimes it surprises me who is up and about when I am. Mostly I seem to make my pennies while I'm sleeping.
Pillowcases look nice when they're ironed as do hankies and you never know when Vince might meet a damsel in distress and need to offer her a hankie. And it's much better if said hankie is ironed.
Sometimes I put the pillowcases straight back on the pillows without ironing them.

I go to bed by 10pm. I have been cooking some delicacies as it's winter and I like cooking.

Cute pig. I don't blame you for not being motivated. You worked really hard on the brick laying and are still stiff. Take one thing at a time. It'll all get done eventually.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm actually much better now and should be fully recovered by tomorrow.
