The leaf blowers are out in full force this morning. Kitty used to run for the closet when they, or the Big Blue Monster, were about, but she's more comfortable with the sounds of this place now.
She is at my feet, in her Egyptian palace guard position, dozing confidently. She already had her Kitty breakfast, left some for later, as she always does, and seems proud of her ability to guard her slave human. I feel safe.
This afternoon is my long one at Guitar Center. I'd better bring a snack with me. How has your Wednesday shaped up so far?

I started teaching today at 7:00am, and then had a break until 9:48, to 10:20, then had a break where I wrote and tried to draw to teach Phonics in a simpler way to kids who don't speak English, Then taught this lesson to a student, and I think it went ok, then taught more advanced English students. I have just finished at 9pm or so.

@TheHorse I have some students from China, and Russian speakers who are livining in Israel too. I translated the vocabulary into different languages so that teachers can feel more confident when teaching the material.

@lifecoachjerusalem Sounds interesting. I have been working with a lot of Spanish-speaking younguns recently. They have taught me a few words and phrases.

I had to take Pretty to her specialist in Joplin today. It was a long drive and we got home tired. Pretty is already asleep in her room and I'm getting ready for a nap myself.

Such a good guard Kitty. Fur babies make our blood pressure lower and relieve stress. I miss ours. Nothing much happened on Wednesday. Hubs went back to his 2nd cardiologist.

@TheHorse He's still in AFIB. He needs to take his meds on time every time. I remind him 10,000 times a day; and he still doesn't do it.

I hope you had a good day at the Guitar Center. Whenever we did any yard work Sid was always either sitting on the fence watching us or up in a tree looking down at us. You would think he would want to help but he just watched,

I have often wondered the same thing. I live in politically correct California, where most dog owners scoop up the poo of their canine friends. Fallen leaves are lovely to me. I believe "fallen leaves" may be the lyrics to a song I like. Or is it "Autumn leaves"?

Kitty really is a beautiful cat looking all regal sitting there.
