I doubt we will put out Xmas decorations this year.

It rained heavily last night and there is no guarantee that it will stop. I was thinking of putting them around December 17 as we always do but with rain we will be on tenterhooks specially the lights.
This will be the first year that we will not have decorations outside. I want my peace and not tension. What if it rains in the night?.
Have you ever not had Xmas decorations any year?

No such rules here but it is the rains that will stop us from putting them out.

@allknowing - They also have put up the Christmas tree in front of the Town Hall, but no lights during the night.

I always have at least lights out. You can buy outside light strings so the rain wouldnt matter.
