Last trip to the little Tesco before Christmas.

I've been to the little Tesco for the last time before Christmas. I managed to get everything that my Mum wanted!
It wasn't so cold out today. My weather app said 6°c. I put my gloves on anyway. As I was going down the street there was a plummers van across the path and I didn't know if I'd be able to get passed with my trolley but I did - just.
First I went to the post box at the end of our street to post another 4 Christmas cards for my Mum. Then I went as fast as I could to the shop.
First I got 2 Christmas issue TV magazines, then I got some non-alcoholic wine, it's called schloer or something, a bounty bar and some fudge for my step-dad and a packet of ginger nut biscuits for me.
Next I got 4 pears, some little gem lettuce that I didn't know if I could get it from the little Tesco and some strawberries.
Mum wanted me to get some chocolate Santa's or something for my little nephews, and I saw some chocolate teddies but they were on the top shelf and I couldn't reach them. I decided to leave them until I could ask someone to fetch them down for me.
I got my Mum and step-dad some chocolate eclairs like last week and then I saw one of the shop assistants coming round. She said, Are you alright? and I said, can you reach me 2 of those chocolate teddies please? she said which ones? and I said the £2.50 ones. So she brought down the whole tray and I chose 2.
Then I got 2 bottles of milk and then I went to pay. I also asked for 4 first class stamps for my Mum. With club card it came to just over £15.
Then I went back home as fast as possible. When I got home I took my coat, gloves and shoes off and changed back into my slipper socks. I then took Mum her change, receit and Tesco club card and told her that I thought she would be very pleased with me. I unpacked and showed her what I'd got and she was very pleased with the chocolate teddies. She was also pleased I'd got the little gem lettuce.
I put everything away. Then I cut my packet of ginger nut biscuits down the middle so they'd fit in my tin. I then got a piece of paper and I wrote on it in felt pen: SHARON'S GINGER NUTS. DO NOT TOUCH! I put that in my tin on top of the biscuits because my step-dad has a tendency to go in there and steal my biscuits!
Then I sat down for a rest and watch a bit of Homes Under the Hammer. I started our soup earlier today, at 11:30am, and the reason being at 12:00 noon we turned over to Sky Arts (Channel 11) because there's an Andre Rieu concert on! This one is called Christmas Down Under. He is going to be on at 12:00 noon every day now till Friday. Tomorrow he's only on for an hour which is good because we are going to the big Tesco and we won't miss any of him! I'm going shopping down town again on Friday and I'm going to endeavour to be back by 12:00 noon to watch Andre again. I might go out earlier on Friday so I can get back in time.
How are you all getting on with your Christmas preparations? What are you all doing for Christmas?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

Mostly done for Christmas. Just want to indulge in a few more gingerbread Christmas cookies and walnut brownies. Plate lunch on Christmas day, no cooking. I've my pineapple rum cake, saving it for Christmas day dessert. Since weather forecast, sunny till Christmas day, shopping at Walmart. I need orange juice, my free home test kits and what might catch my fancy. My white chocolate egg nog truffles, hasn't arrived yet.

Yes, just a couple more at different store to get. No, white chocolate egg nog truffles, I believe because of weather, hasn't come. Changed my menu for Christmas, got frozen food, cheaper.

@oahuwriter Oh, dear. I'm sorry your white chocolate egg nog truffles didn't come. What are you going to have instead? Have you got the other stuff that you needed yet?

I'm glad you're nearly done for Christmas. Sounds like you're going to have a good Christmas. Did you get what you wanted? And has your white chocolate egg nog truffles come yet?

I'm glad you were able to complete your shopping. We are ready for Christmas except for making a roaster full of cabbage rolls. We are having them for Christmas. Nothing else special planned. You have a nice day too.

Thank you very much. Yes, I've got all my presents now and they are now all wrapped.
I'm glad you are all ready for Christmas. It'll soon be the big day. My Mum still has to get some presents for my little nephews! All I've got to do is sort Christmas cards for my Mum, step-dad, brother, sister-in-law and little nephews.
Thank you very much.

You sound like you have it all organised. I will be doing my last Christmas shop tomorrow because it still gives me time to go back and get anything that I may have forgotten. I do not want to be out shopping on Friday or Saturday because I know that the shops will be too busy and I hate busy shops.

Yes, I do have it all organised. I've got all my presents and they are all wrapped. I've only got to do a few cards now. Have you finished your Christmas shop now? I've got to go to Iceland on Friday for some sea bass but I think that's about all. Unless Mum thinks of something else for me to get.
