Cornflake biscuits for our son

While we were visiting our son in Melbourne, Australia, we made up a dozen meals for him and they are all in the freezer. They are meat-based with rice on the side.
He had also requested some cornflake biscuits (cookies) so I made him some and that’s what you can see in the photo. Next to it is a set of stackable measuring spoons. I love things that stack neatly together. This was a very simple recipe but they turned out very symmetrical for a change. Mostly my biscuits are very strange shapes.
We are going to a friends’ place tomorrow night for drinks. We’ve found a recipe for a dip with one of the main ingredients being Baileys Irish Cream. We’re going to make that tomorrow and if it works, we’ll make it again for New Year. You dip strawberries and/or other fruits and/or chocolate fingers into it. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

There isn't a lot he can do for us really. He'd planned what we could do with lots of options but we didn't want to go sight-seeing. And he had foods and nibbles he thought we'd enjoy. He'd also downloaded a couple of films I wanted to see. He gets us a really good price for our Nike shoes as he has contacts in the store. And he keeps in touch a lot. He has anxiety and depression issues so finds life a bit hard from time to time.

There's a reason I always preferred making "spoon-drop" cookies. They always come out nice and round for me when other cookies come out oddly shaped.
I've never heard of cornflake cookies before. I looked them up and they sound very interesting. I'm sure Pretty would like them if I made some for her.

@JudyEv I understand. But you can mail him some once in a while. (When Pretty was in college, I mailed her home-cooked foods all the time. I'd pack whatever it was in a box with baggies of ice packed around it. She said the ice was still melting when she'd get the packages.)

@DaddyEvil I'm not sure they'd be allowed because of our quarantine restrictions. They are very fussy about what is mailed and what isn't. I could make some enquiries though.

Oh! Those look so tempting. I just want to grab few of those cookies . It just appears to be so crispy and yummy.
I too like things that stack well, look neat and take less space.
Have a good time at your friends. Hope the dip turns out well.

@JudyEv It's the same with the ones that we have. Handles keep poking out. This one is really neat. A thoughtful design

They are a very basic, plain biscuit but rolled in crushed cornflakes. I'm not familiar with the cookies you mention.

I could have put sultanas in these but he just wanted plain ones.
