This seems like a really bad novel, but we just found out our son in law in Charleston has Covid.
He's not too awfully sick, but I expect my immune system isn't really strong, so we decided not to go to Tammy's for Christmas.
We had planned to drive seven hours Friday to Charleston, SC in probably a lot of wind and rain.
I don't hurt anywhere yet, except for being sore from the breast surgery last week. But I'm just tired, although I haven't started radiation therapy yet.
So, I'm disappointed, but it's better to stay away from any sick people as possible.
We'll do a video chat Christmas morning. Life throws a lot of changes and I believe God was very wise not to let humans know the future.
It really makes us depend on Him even more.
I do hope you all have a healthy and happy Christmas.

I'm sorry to hear that your Christmas plans were changed; but it is best that you stay away from anyone with germs! You need to concentrate on yourself for a while and stay as healthy as possible.

Hopefully we can do a video chat that morning. Dale and I are going to cook Christmas dinner together which will be nice. I've cooked a Christmas Eve dinner for our family for probably 45 years or more, so this will be different. But still lots to praise God for. I pray you and your husband will both be well and have a wonderful Christmas.

As much as I know you would love to be with your family at Christmas it is best you stay away from as many folks as you can. I know that was hard for my loved ones who went has to go through chemo and radiation because both liked being around people. Continued prayers for you

Thank you, Faye. Tammy's husband Jay is a sweetheart. He said he would go to a hotel if we decided to still go there for Christmas. Of course we said absolutely not, but he really would have gladly done that.
