Flying home for Christmas.

Another daughter arrives tomorrow. And as I write that lovely sentence I realise that I must now specify for reasons of clarification that my wife is not pregnant. I refer to an adult daughter flying in from Scotland to celebrate Christmas with us.
She’ll arrive, re-organise us and then fly away a few days later leaving us to put the house back the way it ought to be. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The whole family and their various attachments will be together in out house on Christmas Eve, except for our English daughter and her family who we saw at the start of the month. Thirteen of us as far as I can make out. This is when I realise that it is handy to live in a house that has 5 toilets.
