Can loneliness in later stages of life lead to faster onset of senility

I have Vladimir Putin on my mind.
The guy divorced his wife of almost 30 years in 2014...
Definitely idle mind is Devil's workshop...
We women make it possible for men to hate us grumble against us argue with us worry about their money, force men to behave nicely even when they are seething under rage, tell them what they know to be right as wrong, use their services to lift things, while cussing us under breath, and in general everything make men disciplined by doing everything they don't want to do.
Because we keep men engaged in so much, world has seen fewer wars...otherwise, I am sure, there have been enough opportunities for this world to have been destroyed by nuclear wars.
Ok...I was kidding. Just...feeling sorry for Ukrainians...no X mas for them, eh?

I think most men turn a deaf ear to nagging!

I think the more interaction and activity in later years the better.
I think about the Ukrainians a lot. All this war is so uncalled for. Just one man's ego.

Interesting question. I think it might have to do with that. I think some people like being alone, but other people like him may have people around him all the time. They just not his friends or his family. They just yes people because they so scared of him. Which leads me to believe maybe his brain is trying to make him forget all the crap things he has done through out his life. Maybe there could be some truth to that with senility. Brain is one interesting contraption.
They do say he only has maybe three years left to live from rumors though. Lets not get carried away but if that is the case another reason where even the evil Putin seems to be even becoming more evil.

To like living alone is not wrong and pretty much acceptable too. But there is that minimal level of intimate group. It has something to do with good memories, memories of helplessness and help received, memories of growing older together... not same as younger one who is just a machine.
If he has only three years to live, this is brain tumor perhaps. He should be sent to health care unit, not allowed to read and react.

@vandana7 It is is a very interesting and astute point you bring up miss lady. The problem with him is they cannot send him to get medical attention and a guy like him just does not have good memories.
Even countries like ours where we have become so corrupt, the good leaders you can get them to get the help they need. The people around them are not scared to say dude, you off, get some help.
Russians to scared and all they know is yes sir. They may see a decline but still say yes sir we we will just wait for you to die. That's the most scary leader because now the mighty Putin is overly paranoid. He can tell people are not so scared of him no more, so he will do more extreme things to instill that fear again. What a sad life and way to live if you ask me.

Ukrainians still celebrate Christmas. A grey and cold one, but the light is in their souls. Well, they are no saints, but now they do what they must do to protect their country and their future. And they are brave and determined.
As for the nagging... Hehe, I know one thing: happy wife, happy life. Not easy, though...

I agree nobody is a saint. But what Putin has done will go down in history like what Hitler did. Yes, they are brave...and so admired a lot.
If you know one, just tell one, that we admire their braveness and determination. They will find courage to go on for another day.
As to nagging, we deliberately make it tough for men....otherwise, men will have time to think other things...like Putin did.

Yes. Nobody deserves to be insecure for such a long time...nobody. I feel sorry for the elderly there. As it is, under the normal circumstances, taking care of elderly is tough. With shortage of money and food, and jobs ..will they be looked after? Especially if all their retirement savings and home etc., after working hard for several years is gone right before them?

I would hate to live in a country such as the Ukraine and have to endure a war.

Russians are more helpless than Ukrainians. They have their relatives living in Ukraine. They may also have businesses there, which have to be closed down. War and sanctions are not going to do the country any good. Top it all, their future generations now have nobody around who would trust them or help them.
